Decowell Remote IO -- a case study of stereo garage application

1. Introduction of stereo garage


1.1 Introduction

The problem of no parking is the result of the development of urban society, economy and traffic to a certain extent. The development of three-dimensional parking equipment has a history of nearly 30 to 40 years in foreign countries, especially in Japan, and it has achieved success both in technology and experience. In the early 1990s, our research and development of mechanical stereo parking equipment began. It has already gone through nearly 20 years. Due to the ratio of residents and parking Spaces in many new residential areas is 1:1, in order to solve the contradiction between the parking space area and the commercial area of residents, the mechanical three-dimensional parking equipment has been accepted by the majority of users with its unique characteristics of small average bicycle area.


1.2 Advantages of stereo garage

       

Compared with the underground garage, the three-dimensional garage can more effectively ensure the safety of the person and the vehicle. When the person is in the garage or the car is not allowed to stop, the whole equipment controlled by the electronic will not run. It should be said that the mechanical garage can be completely separated from the management of people and cars. The use of mechanical storage in the underground garage can also exempt heating and ventilation facilities, so the electricity consumption in operation is much lower than that of the underground garage managed by workers. Mechanical garages generally do not do complete sets of systems, but to a single set of assembly. In this way, it can give full play to its advantages of less land, which can be divided into pieces. Mechanical parking buildings can be randomly set up in each group or downstairs of each building in the residential area. This provides a convenient condition for solving the parking problem of the community which is short of garages at present.

2.1 Stereo garage topology

Smart 200 is a Siemens small PLC, starting from firmware V2.4, supports PROFINET communication and can carry up to 8 PROFINET slave devices.

EX-1110 is an EX series PROFINET adapter, which can expand up to 32 IO modules and support PROFINET RT/IRT communication. EX-2C0S is a 32 channel digital input module (NPN&PNP), mainly collecting sensors, travel switches and other digital models. EX-3208 is an 8-channel relay output module, mainly output control intermediate relay or AC contactor drive lifting motor or translation motor.

3. EX card type IO module


The IO used in the above case is EX series distributed IO module, which was released in 2018 and has diversified adapter agreements. Support EtherCAT, PROFINET, PROFIBUSDP, DeviceNET, CC-Link, CC-LinkIEF Basic, ModbusRTU, EtherNET/IP and other bus agreements, The expandable IO modules in the adapter include digital input/output, analog input/output, thermocouple/thermal resistance and so on.
